A few pictures from a couple special days.
For Father’s Day I wanted to get one more use out of the onesie I originally made four years ago, so it made total sense to make two new shirts for Todd and Ada 😉
The girls’ shirts say I LOVE DADDY in binary.
A couple weeks after Ruby was born Todd and Ada built a 2 liter-bottle rocket. Ada picked out the colors and designed the base. The bottle started out shooting about 6 feet up into the air but after a few weeks of fine tuning, it got up to about 40 feet.
The neighbor kids had fun helping and watching the initial testing of the rocket. I did not get any more pictures of the launches, but Todd has a video he’ll post on Facebook 🙂
A few picture from the first 3 weeks of Ruby’s life. Baby’s are fun the first few weeks. You can put them anywhere, such as a basket, and they will stay put 🙂
It was wonderful having family here and all the help and support received from them during and after Ruby’s birth. Cindy cared for Ada while we were in the hospital and then a couple days after she left, my parents came to town. They stayed with us for almost 2 weeks. It was so nice having them all here to help with Ruby, chauffeuring us to doctor appointments, and keeping Ada company. My parents were here for my birthday too, which made it extra special this year.
