Ruby started crawling this month. Well, it’s more of a inch worm/army crawl. She sure gets around without getting up on her knees. She also started saying “b” sounds and clearly says mama only when upset 🙂
In other exciting news, Ada lost her first tooth! She was pretty excited after it came out, although a little anxious while it was loose. You can see the cute gap in the bottom photos 🙂
Ada at 7 months
Had a nice time visiting with family. The cousins enjoyed their time together as usual 🙂

Ruby bear would wriggle in the leaves and start to sink deeper into the pile, she almost disappeared 🙂
Ruby had her wellness check up and was in the healthy 90th percentile for height, head and weight. She’s a big girl! Night and day from the beginning when she was not gaining weight the first few weeks. She also has her two bottom teeth, our little piranha 🙂
Ada at 6 Months
On Halloween day we visited our neighbor’s cute little pumpkin patch on Willetta Farm. Ada dressed up as Batgirl and had fun with her friend Caleb. Ada did a pumpkin scavenger hunt, corn maze, wagon ride, rode a draft horse, and got to pet other little critters.
That evening we went to our church for dinner, games, and candy. Then ended the night trick-or-treating around the neighborhood with some friends.
Our annual trek (2 miles) to Stoney Ridge Farm was extra special with Ruby this year. She got to experience all the fun things Ada looks forward to such as feeding the animals, getting lost in the corn maze, apple cider doughnuts, sitting on pumpkins, and so on. Sadly, this was the last year for the pumpkin patch, so we will have to find a new place as a family to explore.

Our last California excursion was visiting Joshua Tree National Park. What a beautiful place! The rock formations and desert landscape are breathtaking.
